Inspired by the Vallée de Joux,
The brand new Hôtel des Horlogers has recently opened its doors. This project was designed by BIG (Bjarke Ingel Group) and executed by CCHE, the two partners who had already created the Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet located just a few steps away.

Designed mainly with exposed concrete type 4 and wood, forming a perfect combination of materials, Novalla took to heart the treatment of this project, which represented a challenge due to its details and finishing requirements.

Our Expertise

The exposed concrete walls were treated with Novalla I50 hydrophobic coating to protect them from dust and dirt without altering the natural appearance of the concrete.
In order to maintain the natural shapes and traits of the concrete, we delicately and finely worked on the cosmetic details according to the wishes of the project leaders.
